The public demand quality seed production of high-yielding seeds and a great extent due to the shortage of high-quality local farmers needs yielding seeds considering 1992 to 2000 as a Konika Seeds house name in a small volume production of vegetable seeds, Paddy Seed and Marketing operates through seed sellers in local market. Production and marketing activities of this organization in order to expand in 2001 then  Bangladesh-German Seed development project Supported for Konika Seed Company (Pvt) Limited highly production and marketing of highly Production seeds began widely.

Mr. Md. Nur Alam (Liton) has been awarded the National award as the best jute seed producer of Bangladesh from Prime Minister Sheikh hasina, Honorable Prime Minister of the Government of the people's Republic of Bangladesh on 6th March, 2019, held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center, organized by Bangabandhu International Conference Center.
